Conformance and provider simulation
Evaluate adapter behavior, provider lifecycle semantics, Permit binding, reconciliation, and failure handling before relying on a real financial-provider connection.
Adapter conformance
Conformance checks cover the material behaviors GuardState needs from an adapter: identity and capability discovery, provider health, market-data evidence, submission semantics, idempotency, order lifecycle, cancellation or modification where supported, and reconciliation.
Provider simulator
The deterministic simulator can exercise acknowledgements, timeouts, unknown outcomes, duplicates, partial fills, out-of-order events, rejection, cancellation, correction, outages, and clock-skew conditions without representing those results as a real broker lifecycle.
Permit verification
The verifier can establish whether a Permit is structurally and cryptographically valid for its bound context. Verification remains separate from a provider's decision to accept or execute an action; a valid Permit is not itself provider authorization.
What conformance means
Conformance is technical evidence against a defined GuardState contract. It is not a regulatory certification, investment recommendation, provider endorsement, or guarantee of safe financial performance.
